The aircraft had electrical problems during the trip and the pilot had to find his way to Lisbon.
The landing was not easy because of the failure of some systems but he was able made it safe.
The pilot was interned in Elvas for several weeks.
The aircraft became part of OK squadron of the Portuguese Aeronáutica Militar.
